My time at Strawbridge has provided me with some of the most amazing opportunities.
I will be forever thankful that I attended TYA (Texas Youth Academy). In the two weeks I was able to spend at SMU I learned so much from so many different amazing people, and met some of my closest friends.
I am thankful to have traveled across the country for different educational trips like ISLE and Refuge. I learned a lot about history, social justice, and the Methodist church, as well as the brokenness of the world we live in. Trips like this, while they show you the broken places, they also help to highlight all the ways in which people are working to do good, and how you can help be the good in the world.
I have absolutely loved serving on our Student Leadership Team with some of the most amazing humans. Together we help plan youth events and mission trips. And it’s always fun to see a vision we that we create, come to life through the students and those involved with youth ministry.
Strawbridge is my family, and I am so thankful for all the ways in which I have been so generously poured into and been able to learn and grow.
